Keats Lettings Reflect on the 2021 Rental Market

According to Keats Estate and Letting Agents, the Haslemere rental market remains strong post-lockdown and properties that are available to let are snapped up within a matter of days.

According to official Rightmove data, Keats successfully let more residential properties than any other agent in the GU27 and GU30 postcode areas between 1st January 2021 and 8th November 2021.

Molly Puttock, Lettings Valuer and Property Consultant, commented: “This year we have experienced a busy rental market and our lettings team have pulled together to ensure the rental process has been as smooth as possible for both landlords and tenants.

“There has been a high volume of families moving out of London and into local rental properties. Also, as house prices increased, many people decided to sell and move into rental, putting them in a stronger position to buy when they choose to move.

“Rental prices have risen, but there continues to be huge demand for properties across both Haslemere and Liphook. We are urging prospective landlords to speak with our property experts to ensure they are aware of all legal requirements before letting and the ongoing management services available for their peace of mind.”
