Keats Estate Agents in Haslemere, along with all other agencies across England, is permitted to remain open during the current lockdown. The local market is busy, with high demand from buyers and tenants - especially those looking to relocate from the City.
The government has confirmed that residential sales and letting agents can continue to operate during the lockdown, so long as we follow the latest guidance for employers and businesses on Covid-19 and safer working.
This enables our team to market properties, assist prospective buyers and renters, and carry out property viewings with safety being our top priority.
Keats Director Rita Tinney said: “We are following all government guidelines and have taken steps to make our Haslemere office Covid-secure and any property viewings as safe as possible. As part of this, we have carried out a risk assessment and created an operating plan.
“The principal objective of this assessment and plan is to take all reasonable steps to prevent the risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus amongst employees and their families, customers, and contractors who visit our premises or the properties we are currently selling or managing.
“Staff are working from home where possible and those in the office are taking all the necessary precautions. Throughout lockdown all appointments in our office will be by appointment only.
“We are using technology where we can for valuations, viewings and property management responsibilities to reduce the need for face-to-face meetings.
“Ahead of any face-to-face appointments we will run through our safety measures to ensure our clients and staff are as safe as possible.”
