London Movers Look To Haslemere

Keats Lettings is receiving an increase in the number enquiries from families who are trying to rent out their London homes and relocate to the Haslemere area before any further lockdowns are enforced due to Covid-19.

Buyers in London are deserting central locations in favour of the fringe, according to a new analysis of searches and leads by Rightmove.

This is a complete reversal of the trend we experienced only a year ago, when buyers in the city sought as central locations as they could possibly afford.

Tim Bannister, Rightmove’s head of property data said: “Agents have been reporting a number of people selling up in the inner London zones and moving further out, but to see this reversal in the demand trend reflected so clearly in the data is quite something.”
